FLAVOR UP! Find the Next Breakthrough Snack Flavor


Did you know? According to Mintel, exotic flavors drive the purchasing of a snack more than anything else. Younger snackers are craving bolder, more exciting new flavors to satisfy their increasingly adventurous pallets.   Flavors know no borders, leading to new forms of BBQ, Asian, and Latin American varieties seeing growth in the snacking category.

According to IRI, the compound annual growth rate (CAGR) forecast is promising for the following types of flavors:

 

  • HOT: 6% projected CAGR
  • Cheesy: 4.5% projected CAGR
  • Asian Flavors: 30% projected CAGR
  • Nutty: 2% projected CAGR

Flavor Up at SNAXPO’s second annual Flavor Pavilion–where global seasonings meet fearless flavors. Exhibiting flavor and seasoning suppliers will showcase their bold flavor profiles on the trade show floor, sparking the next snacking obsession! Last year’s Flavor Pavilion featured such innovative flavors as gochujang, cucumber onion salad with dill, scorpion pepper and cheddar, and more.
